What are you expectation for the day?

  • To understand what specialist nurses would like from ESNO in the near future
  • Networking with other professionals
  • I am keen to profile dermatology as a speciality for nurses. I would like to learn how health care is provided and the roles and responsibilities available to nurses working throughout Europe. Understand what it means to be a specialist nurse working in Europe.
  • Sharing from the various organisations and countries
  • to have the opportunity to learn about nursing specialties other than mine (I am a nurse anesthesist ) in Europe
  • to gain information on how to be link with health-related projects, sponsored by the EU
  • Networking with people who have some influence in the EU politics or healthcare organisations to collaborate
  • Dynamics and interaction and getting to know person before the ESNO congress
  • Learning about organisations of the health sector
  • Perspectives and strategies and especially for Nursing and Nursing education in the future
  • i want to know more about that side of things, it seems really far from my working reality


 What do you hope to take back home after the day?

  • How specialist nurses can contribute to the wider EU health policy discussions
  • Relevant information to share with my colleagues
  • I would like to learn how other specialities network and promote clinical practice. Encouragement and direction in supporting UK specialist dermatology nurses to advance in their professional practice.
  • vision of what industry could bring to help ongoing initiatives
  • Have a better view of the nursing specialties opportunities in Europe for a possible professional change
  • Interesting inputs, networking with nurses across Europe
  • understanding the dynamics of the EU and everything around it.
  • Who is representing dynamics, does CPME speak on behalf of all doctors and ESNO speak on behalf of all nurses?

ESNO, Nurses Guide on AMR and Vaccination

In process, the ESNO Nurses Information and Education Guide on Anti Microbial Resistance (AMR) and Vaccination   Regarding  the current role of nurses in combatting antimicrobial resistance (AMR), ESNO regards that thus far there had been a lack of involvement of specialist nurses on this issue and that there is great potential to increase involvement in the areas of antimicrobial stewardship, surveillance of the incidence of drug-resistant infections and education of patients on this topic. ESNO aims to raise awareness and educate nurses on this topic; equipping nurses to tackle AMR is now a top priority for the organisation. Information on health and all related to personal health and vulnerability is high sensitive, on sickness, therapy, profession and so on this is a fundament everyone understands. And for that reason -to emphasis on that- Nurses have signed by their graduation a code of coduct and ethics before getting their diploma and certificates. All Nurses codes on ethics in the world are inspired and/or partly copied from the ICN Code of Ethics.
