Like the congress last February 2019, we again bring together European nurses from al health domains and their speciality. In 2019 we have been setting the scene with a position statement on the Specialist Nurse -and in Italian-  in Health Towards 2030 and in February 2020 we are going to be more specific. This time per specialty and education topics and we expects a great spectrum of frameworks and competent profiles, getting deeper in the subject what we as good nurses can do best. End of this month we aim to have the ESNO congress program ready.
For the ESNO congress 2021 we aim to have a better understanding on the spectrum of specialities in all health domains and will address this with national regulatory bodies and those European officers and officials to discuss the benefit of harmonisation of training and a common training framework. Before doing so, we need to well prepared and need your input, contribution and participation. 

For this next congress 20-02-2020 there is ‘work to be done’ .... with you and marking the start of the 'Year of the Nurse and Midwife'. 

We like to invite you to join us in the next ESNO congress and use the opportunity with a poster presentation -call for abstracts-  and join in the plenary and parallel session. We are going to use the complete venue and expect about 200 to 250 participants: the place to be for specialist nurses and health organsiation interested to join and participate. 
Prior to the congress, the day before, we again organise a 'Touch of Brussels for Nurses' to learn and exchange information with European health organsiations.

Facebook and Nurses Code of Ethics

Information on health and all related to personal health and vulnerability is high sensitive, on sickness, therapy, profession and so on this is a fundament everyone understands. And for that reason -to emphasis on that- Nurses have signed by their graduation a code of coduct and ethics before getting their diploma and certificates. All Nurses codes on ethics in the world are inspired and/or partly copied from the ICN Code of Ethics. ESNO, Nurses Guide on AMR and Vaccination

In process, the ESNO Nurses Information and Education Guide on Anti Microbial Resistance (AMR) and Vaccination   Regarding  the current role of nurses in combatting antimicrobial resistance (AMR), ESNO regards that thus far there had been a lack of involvement of specialist nurses on this issue and that there is great potential to increase involvement in the areas of antimicrobial stewardship, surveillance of the incidence of drug-resistant infections and education of patients on this topic. ESNO aims to raise awareness and educate nurses on this topic; equipping nurses to tackle AMR is now a top priority for the organisation.
